During the Guerrilla Collective today, Thunderful Games announced Firegirl Hack ‘n Splash Rescue. Developed by Dejima Games, Firegirl is a 2.5D roguelite where you try to rescue civilians from blazing fires all while trying to solve the mystery of what caused these fires in the first place.
Firegirl sees you taking on the role of a rescue officer just starting her career. You are armed with an axe and a fire hose that also acts as a jetpack. Take on emergency calls across the city and try to rescue as many civilians as possible.
There’s a variety of different levels, from fancy hotels to high-speed trains, and once Firegirl arrives, the clock starts ticking. Can you save everyone before the fire destroys everything?
Of course, a firefighter has to do more than just, well, fight fires. In between missions, you can hang out at the Firehouse to upgrade your equipment, hire new staff or pay the bills. Rebuild your Firehouse to its former glory.
This is not the first game by Dejima games in the rogue genre. Illumine is another award-winning roguelike by their hand. Firegirl has big shoes to fill.
Firegirl Hack ‘n Splash Rescue will be available later this year on consoles and Steam. But you can already add the game to your wishlist on Steam right now.
